Our Mission

Reimagining Kid’s Healthcare

In the health industry, “pediatric” all too often means child-size versions of generic (cold, uninspiring, grey) tools and supplies–but we’re here to ask why. We think kids deserve more: they deserve care that’s designed for who they are–emotionally and physically–from day one.

Fever Buddy FAQs

The Fever Buddy is safe for children 6 months and older when used in ear and forehead mode. Our Fever Buddy complies with FDA requirements for medical devices.

It's always recommended to consult your healthcare provider for medical advice, especially concerning your child's health. You know your child best; even in the absence of a fever, if you have concerns, please consult your healthcare professional.

Taking a child's temperature can be challenging and stressful for both kids and parents. Our Fever Buddy makes the process easier by transforming temperature-taking into a playful experience, providing quick and accurate readings when you need them most.

When used properly according to the user manual, the Fever Buddy uses advanced infrared technology to provide clinical-grade temperature readings within ±0.2°C (±0.4°F).

The bottle mode is designed to safely measure the temperature of liquids like milk, formula, and even baby food without direct contact.

Clean the thermometer after every use by dampening a cotton swab with hot water or neutral detergent to thoroughly clean the casing and measuring probe. Disinfect with a cotton swab dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

CAUTION: Do not immerse in water or place in the dishwasher.

The Fever Buddy comes with 2x AAA batteries that typically last several months. When the batteries need to be replaced, simply slide open the compartment and replace them.

Results appear in about one second.
